Korean Friendship Bell

21 Feb

Went adventuring around PV/South Bay with the amazing Marshall Bang and his friend Leah the other day.

Our plans changed last minute but I had a blast taking him to the Korean Friendship Bell – a bell and pavilion donated in the 70s to LA from Korea to honor the Korean War.
Not only is the location of this bell on top of a gorgeous hill overlooking the shining California coast, Catalina Island, and the harbor, but it’s built on abandoned military batteries.

We picked up some El Burrito Jr. (if you are from the South Bay you def know LBJ’s) to picnic up there and then adventured around the area.
