I haven’t updated in SO long.. mostly because I’ve spent a ton of time the past month traveling. 3 different time zones in 1 week? That’s pretty insane.
While I had hoped to be able to keep up with my blog while traveling, it just got really hard to work that much and blog and stay healthy. So basically I ended up working hard but not blogging and getting really sick. ): But I’m feeling better and hoping to catch up on my backlogged blog posts.
First stop on the East Coast was Rutgers in New Jersey.

We spent most of our time eating at places that were on Man VS Food (the Grease Trucks for some crazy sandwiches and Stuff Yer Face for some ‘boli’s). Really fatty but super worth it.

Instant Noodles Crew had performed at Rutgers for a TASA show. It was a fun show and the crowd was great. (:

After a couple of days around Rutgers, we continued on to adventure into the great city that is NYC. It was Arthur’s first time in the city and I haven’t been in a while so it was really fun even though we didn’t get to spend all that much time there.
I got to skate in Rockefeller Center! Now I can check that off my bucket list. (: Thanks guys for skating with me, even if you didn’t want to at first.

We went back to New Jersey but stayed in the sleepy country town of Lebanon. We actually ended up getting snowed in which was great considering Chris and Charles have never seen snow before. We were totally unprepared to be playing in the snow but it ended up being one of my favorite days of the trip. All we did was eat, play in the snow, eat some more, and sing karaoke. Amazing.

Early the next morning we set off to Boston for a couple of days to do workshops at Boston University for Bulletproof and a CSA show/Q&A panel at Boston College.

This trip was exhausting but was such a great experience.
Thank you to the Instant Noodles fambam for making this trip so memorable and fun. And thank you to those who brought us out there and took care of us. Special thanks/shoutouts to Julia, Eric, Ben & Krystal (FoundAsians), Nick & Liz for housing and taking care of us.
I can’t wait for more trips like this!
If you want to see more photos of the trip, there are 2 albums on Instant Noodle Crew’s facebook (here and here).
